The Posada Alegria is a traditional Andalusian patio house from 1901, which has been renovated with high quality materials to a modern standard, without without losing the original character and charm. All the historical sites, such as the Roman/Arabic castle, the Arco de la Pastora, Plaza Iglesia Mayor or the impressive Roman archaeological museum are all within a 5-10 minute walk.

We were looking for an affordable hotel during one month trip from France-Portugal-Spain. This one was perfect. We had no idea about this village; Medina Sidonia but we were very happy to discover this beautiful & unique place. The hotel is clean and confortable, well located as there are parking place not far and the centre of town is only 3,4 minutes on foot. Special thanks to Sandra who assist us giving maximum information on our arrival.
